Find Your Passion for Travel and Self Discovery

I got the nickname Bunny from my Aunt when I first moved to New York City in 2009. Before I grew a community of my own, I would take my Saturdays to ride the subway just to see what was above random stops, getting lost and “being stumbly” we liked to call it. “Oh, so you’re hopping around like a little Bunny” she’d joke. The name stuck and I’ve been Bunny ever since.

This blog is for you, Reader! If not to be inspired to travel across the world, then to stumble into your next adventure with boldness, curiosity and fervor to know thine own self. “Adventure” sneakily and oftentimes will be found in the mundane mandatories of life. At work, in friend groups, and in the search to find new friends, I’ve learned first-hand that when life gets real, you have to know the YOU part of yourself well enough to propel forward. The only decision that will matter is the one that comes from within, and rarely from what you’ve seen others do. The greatest gift you can give yourself is to know who you are when you’re surrounded in an experience you’ve never had to level up to. For me, that quiet knowing shines brightest when I travel.

The work is to actually believe yourself when you look in the mirror; to stand ten toes against the naysayers (and voices in your head) of what you should be doing with your life, and to just do you.

You’ll find out how small you are, how big God is, and how much power you can shake out of yourself, simply because you were born amazing.

I can only hope the experiences I’ll share will serve as the gas for your ride to the unknown of tomorrow. Follow along and holla back - the show is already on the road!
